In week 5 we experienced Acts 19-23. We took the trip with Paul through his 3rd and into his 4th missionary journey. Starting in Ephesus to his arrest in Jerusalem.
For the gifts and calling of the LORD are irrevocable.
Experiencing Acts this week, WOW! Providence is what I received this whole week. Providence; fate, luck, foresight, circumspection, saving, supervision, sparingness, thriftiness, destiny, circumstances, preparedness, forethought, fortune, providence, sense, success, history, karma.
And we know that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.
What the world sees and names as an accident or unexplainable, the LORD says, it was ME! How true this is in Acts. What a blessing we have to see the beginning of the revelation of history's unfolding providence before us. The accounts of Paul's past and present purpose is so hope filled. Our record of Paul screams providence.
As a prisoner in the LORD, then, I urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling you have received:
Remembering Paul's example to work hard and bless by giving. Be alert, aware through the Holy Spirit. Expose your scars, your testimony is beautiful. You are the Lord's providence to the world. His pride and success.
I ask that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you may know the hope of His calling the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints,
