"I'm hungry" is the worst part of our day. In order to survive as a homeschool m, food is our number one weapon. All homeschool momma's know there kiddos appetite. We never go anywhere without a snack on us!
We have way too many things to organize! Lesson plans for multiple kids, extra curricular activities of who knows the number, family planning, meal planning; we might as well be a professional planner. There is so much, we can't afford to not be organized. Old reliable is the way to go for me. Journals or day timers is survival 101. Okay, I admit it, not everyone is as technology illiterate as I am. Some awesome momma's have gone techy;).
4. Extra, Extra Read All About It
"Mom, I'm bored" is our worst nightmare. The kids know there is always a book to read to cure their boredom. And that, we always have it on us. Glove box essential!
5. Dictionary, Thesaurus, or Map (app?)
Homeschool momma's are always in teaching mode. That includes grammar and chromatography, just in case. We personally always have a national forest map and atlas in our car, we love to explore. Never underestimate the prepared knowledge of a homeschool momma. Plus, our own development of knowledge, is constant. I tell you what, if I could take the SAT's now, oh man!
