Today I worked on basketball with my Beautiful. Aside from running up and down the court chasing her so she could work on intense game like layups, I did some kick boxing. I worked on forward lunges with a jump knee drive up and down the court. Next, I did forward lunges with a back leg front kick down the court and walking backward lunges back up the court. Third, forward walking lunges with back leg round kicks down the court and walking backward lunges back up the court. Next, forward walking lunges with back leg side kicks and since they are my favorite, I did those down and up the court. Lastly, I finished off with front leg jump kicks of front kicks, round kicks and side kicks. Loved today!
Today we went shopping but I didn't feel bad about not working out cause we walked over 4 miles. So it's all good;)
I did about 3 minutes of kip-up burpees and then spent the afternoon painting our cabin. My arms definitely got a good workout.
Thanksgiving! If you call cooking a workout then I killed it;) Yeah buddy!
Today I felt very sluggish from the sugar so I did a little extra to try and sweat it out. I started off with sprints with my babies in the snow. Yes, we got snow last night, score! Our driveway is exactly .1 of a mile so we did sprints down as fast as we could, we had to race of course...and I lost:( I can't beat their long legs. Then we jogged back and immediately turned around and repeated the process five times. My babies went inside and did some yoga while I did this zuzka 5 minute workout. I finished the third set in the video.
I fallowed this by a power yoga flow for abs and stretching.
It looked like this:
On a yoga mat I did candle pose into a plow pose hold for a good 10 seconds to stretch my spine so good. I rolled down back onto my bottom with my feet under me into a low squat and jumped into a plank. From there I did a competition pushup up into plank. Then a side plank dip on each side, another competition pushup and jumping into a squat to roll back onto my back. I repeated this 10 times. Honestly, I sweat more on this than I did with everything else;)
Tomorrow, I may do a quick cardio in the morning to help push all the sugar I ate through. I can't have much sugar. I am allergic to yeast and sugar activates the yeast I do have in my system and make it feel like I had yeast, yucky! I hope you all had a blessed Thanksgiving!
