The daughter-in-law of Naomi, an Ephrathite woman from Israel, but a Moabitess herself; Ruth enters scripture as the wife of Mahlon the Ephrathite and shortly there after, his widow. for more on Moabites and their origin visit here The Moabite history isn't so compelling, it's actually a very controversial history. In short, when Abram's nephew Lot was saved with his two daughter's (could have been granddaughters, we can do a study on that later), they fled to a cave while Sodom and Gomorra were being destroyed. His daughters thought they were the only ones left on earth, dramatic I know, and got there father drunk and had children by him. The one's son was named Moab and he became the father of the Moabites. The Israelites and Moabites didn't exactly get along. The Moabites were a bit of stinkers to the Israelites on their way to the promised land.
Non the less, Ruth was exceptional. And this is where our study begins. Ruth is one of my favorite woman of the Bible and is so very intriguing. She has many attributes that make it easy to see why she was given the great honor of being the Great-Grandmother of King David himself and in the lineage of The Massiah, Christ Jesus-Yeshuwa Ha'Massiach. Lets delve into this complex and captivating young woman of history.
Hi everyone. I wanted to let you know that the weekly study for this week is coming. Sorry, it is taking so long. It will be worth the wait. To prepare, read through the book of Ruth;)
Even as a busy Momma, life goes on. I am really excited to share this with you and the HIIT's (High Intensity Interval Training) that I have found to be safe for all my limitations. This burns more calories in less time, yes, but for me the important part is that it keeps me "operating" in less than the 20 min, usually 5-15 min. I would like to share these workouts with you as well as my healthy diet...I am allergic to almost everything so I am very healthy. My sister calls me a "crunchy".
So, I think that just about covers things. I have found that the more physical I stay and the more stretching I continue in, the better I feel. This is my fitness journey!
It all began months ago. My lover has been in his line of work for 8 years now and it takes him away from home. He is a husband who desires to be at home and a Daddy who adores his babies, deeply grieved by missing out on most of their lives. To have a husband and my babies to have a daddy that has a heart for his family is a blessing from the LORD. I am not going to waist that, no way José!
Our entire family atmosphere has shifted . We are walking in the blessings of the LORD because of our obedience. We couldn't be more joyful. Come along as we share the life of homeschooling teenagers adventures.
So, I found this note the other day as I was looking through my phone. I must have jotted it down as I was at a stop light or something. I wanted to share it with you...
"Living in a world full of deception is extremely difficult. Yet, YHWH-God calls us to be His children who proclaim the truth. YHWH-God's love for you is unfailing. He's cherished you from the beginning of time and there is nothing that can separate you from His love. You already hold first place in His heart and that will never change"
I so wish I could display in words how great God's love for you is! He paid the highest price possible to redeem you AND just so that He can be with you for forever!
I pray for you to have a blessed week. Not measured by what you accomplish or by how the days go. But measured by how you walk in the love of your Mighty and Awesome Redeemer and Savior. For no greater love has no one, than that One that laid down His life for His friend -John 15:13.
We all have had a hard stain to remove. Rather it's grease from cooking, mud, grass, sweat or oil, it has to come out. But how? My Lover discovered this DIY stain removal years ago when he did roto-milling, putting new black top or tar on roads. He has continued to use it with oil and grease from mechanical work.
This is not entirely organic :( I know, still working that part out, but it is very effective. I most common use it for football now. My "little" football player is always keeping me busy. I regularly use this tactic 3 days a week, the other days he has games and those pants are black...score for Momma! Anyway, here is what you will need:
In the picture above, I had already washed the football pants in my normal washing detergent, with oxyclean, in warm water cycle. That is what was still left of the stains. No, I did not dry them yet, just let them air dry; I don't dry our clothing except for underwear, sox and towels.
All you do:
Let set 5-15 minutes or up to over night. I typically do this when I see the stain and then throw it back in the dirty clothes till wash day. Then I don't have to remember to set aside extra time to treat and set the stain removal. Now wash on any cycle desired and appropriate for the item and material treating.
Here is the football pants after washed and hung to dry. Note: I tried the lemon juice wise-tale on the right leg just to see and it really didn't make a difference. I figured with the type of destruction these bad boys go through, this recipe is sure to get any stains out. Again this works for oil, grease, sweat, grass, mud or any stubborn stain. I did use this on my Beautiful' nice American Eagle jeans that she wore to help Daddy dig post holes in the mud, I wasn't a happy camper about that one. It took 3 good times, without the hydrogen peroxide, to get the mud out but it did work and now they are as good as new:)
"Come now, and let us reason together, says the LORD:
though your sins have stained you as scarlet, they shall become white as snow;
though they are as easy to see as the color crimson, you can become white as wool"
So, I never quite understood this scripture. I would read through it but my understanding never really grasped it. I always assumed it meant that we were invited to discuss or debate a matter with The LORD, to settle. But when it is fallowed up with the talk of sins (and colors), that didn't quite make sense to me. But, it hit me this week, so I had to do a word study and that's when...BOOM! My kiddos knew something was up because I did my super excited "ooh" noise and got antsy. They always come running and wait for me to calm down for the news;) My buddy will have his bible on hand to take notes and get excited with me. My beautiful is more like her daddy and will be there to learn but calm me down and just smile. I love my babies!
Anyway, back on track...We can't debate! That would mean that we can convince The LORD about our sins or change His mind, if we can debate against it with Him. For I am The LORD and I do not change-Malachi 3:6 and Not by works, so that no man can boast-Ephesians 2:9 expressly says that that is not gunna happen.
So, what is this saying? The Hebrew root word for reason here is dabar daw-bar': to arrange. In speaking: to pronounce, tell or teach. It would be in the same context if we were planning a hunting trip with our kids. You would, of course, put them through hunters safety to explain what to expect for what will happen. I am super excited about this. That's what happened! No, not a hunting trip, lets continue.
What is going on here is that the LORD is sitting them down to clear things up. Proclaiming to them what is going to happen; what has been arranged. He is saying you can't reason with Me, it's already done! That though our sins have stained us deep (crimson/red), He has or we shall (past participle event of something that has happened, though it technically hadn't happened yet, super cool!) be made white or pure. He was giving a heads up that He already knew and decided before hand that the cross was already going to happen:)
So, I had to share this with you cause I thought it was amazing!!! What love!!! He knew He would have to die and suffer such a death but decided we were so important that we are worth it! He foreknew what we would be like and what it would cost Him but that we were well worth the cost!!! I hope you found it exciting too!!! You are worth the ultimate cost to the Creator of EVERYTHING, the King who has EVERYTHING yet wants YOU!!! Have a great week:)
"God saved us and called us to be holy, not because of what we had done, but because of his own plan and kindness. Before the world began, God planned that Christ Jesus would show us God's kindness." 2Timothy 1:9
Hello. Oh I am so excited you are here! I would like to start off with an overview of who I am and what MyLifesTea is all about. Well, I am a bit of a "study-holic", as I like to call it. I just can not get enough of studying! I am drawn to research and knowledge. My daddy was the same way. When I was a little girl I would go with him to the University many times a month while he was doing his Masters Degree. I would sit for hours with him helping with his studies. His professors even let me turn in and would grade my papers.
My love for knowledge was branded in. And so MyLifesTea has been born of the direct chain reaction of those treasured moments with my daddy. As a result, all other areas of my life fall in line with the discipline from study.
From the approach I take with the way I see my health and the steps I took to restore it. The love of the outdoors (I know you will thoroughly enjoy the remote places we travel too). Onward to the draw for homesteading.
All this is tailored through my love for Scripture and the written word. In consequence, I am now being called to homeschool my babies; to train them in their loves. I pray MyLifesTea will be a joy to you. And I invite you to join me weekly so we can share together this expedition of life!
